The Leningrad rally will take place for the third time on May 23 - 24, 2020 in St. Petersburg, and this year the sports part of the rally will be during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Thus, the participants of the competition will have a chance to enjoy the breathtaking views of the night city driving their beloved classic car.
The Leningrad rally is the second stage of the Cup of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF) 2020 and the first stage of the MIR grand prix. It has the status of the most significant sport event in St. Petersburg in 2020 and included to the official sports program of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Today, the competition has an international format as there are participants from Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries.
The official start of the rally is on May 23 at 19:00. As always it happens in the very center of the city – this time it will be at Manezhnaya Square as part of the II International Transport Festival SPbTransportFest. There will be carnival celebration for Forum participants and guest of the city.
The length of the route is more than 100 km along good paved roads, around cultural monuments, parks and historical places. The rally will finish after midnight also in the very center of the city.
The next day after a little rest, the participants will gather for lunch to talk about the past competition and of cause to reward the best. It will be on May 24th.
